Cookie Policy

Last revised: 14 April 2026

This page describes the cookies and similar storage techniques used by zestplex.pro. Cookies are small files set by websites in your browser to remember small amounts of state across page loads. Some are necessary for the site to function; many are not. We try to use as few as possible.

What we use

Two pieces of storage. That is the total list:

  • zp_cc_v1 — a value (either “accepted” or “rejected”) stored in your browser's local storage to remember your response to the consent banner so it does not pop up on every page. This is not technically a cookie; local storage is similar in effect. Lifetime: until you clear browser data or change your choice via the footer link.
  • PHP session cookie (named PHPSESSID by your browser) — set only when you load the contact form, removed when you close the browser. Used to verify the contact form is being submitted by the same browser session that loaded it, which protects against cross-site request forgery. Contains a random session identifier and no personal data.

What we do not use

For completeness, the categories of cookie that this site does not set:

  • No third-party analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no Segment, no anything similar).
  • No advertising cookies. We do not advertise online, so we have no use for them.
  • No social media tracking pixels. The footer does not link to social profiles — if it did, embeds would not load by default.
  • No fingerprinting libraries. No canvas-based, audio-based, or font-based identification techniques are used.

Choosing between accept and reject

Because the two storage items above are both technically necessary (one to remember your consent choice, one to protect the form), both work even if you press “reject”. The reject button is included on principle: if we ever add a non-essential cookie, rejecting will block it without breaking anything that does work.

If you change your mind, the footer of every page has a “Cookie preferences” link that reopens the banner.

Disabling cookies in your browser

You can block cookies entirely from your browser settings. The contact form will not be submittable while cookies are blocked, but every other page on the site will work normally. You can find detailed instructions in your browser's help (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge all offer per-site cookie controls).

Updates to this list

If we ever introduce a new cookie or storage mechanism, this page will be updated and the consent banner will reappear automatically. Returning visitors will see it once and choose again.
